<Story>

Gabriel and Jonas came to very far place from the community. There is lives such as birds, animals, and fishes. During the long journey, Jonas injured his ankle and knee, and their food has no left now. Jonas really faced to “starving”, and experienced hunting food by own. It was inconvenient and uncomfortable life which he had never known in the community. Now Jonas noticed the life in the community was very convenient, but at the same time, he felt there was no choice to keep staying in the community. That’s because he needs to protect Gabriel, and now he was taking care of him more than himself.

<Impression>

The life in the nature with baby must be very very difficult. I think they will get sick immediately in the real life. How much our modern life is convenient…..we sometimes forget about it. Now, Jonas has no choice to go back to the community……then they can’t get sick and need to survive somehow!! Oh how the story will be ended from this situation? Find a house which someone living in? Find another community? Also in this situation, we are not sure if Jonas’s all received memories were opened to people in the community. How he can know their plan was achieved? Anyway, what’s important for Jonas is Food and Home! The author may want to tell us what the real free life means. Also the meaning of regulation and our artificial environment….Oh yes, our world is poised between the nature and the artifact.
